Patients undergoing this type of amputation can, therefore, use their knee joint for movement purpose. Thus after rehabilitation moderate physically demanding jobs can be performed with the assistance of prosthesis.
But such conditions demand avoidance of jobs that are to be performed in a squatting or crouching position.
