Tenosynovitis

Tenosynovitis is a condition caused by repetitive strain injury to the sheath (synovium)
surrounding the tendon.

Tenosynovitis variations include De Quervain’s tenosynovitis (thumb) and stenosing
tenosynovitis (midole finger, fourth finger or thumb).

Symptoms:

  1. Pain (mild to severe)
  2. Stiffness
  3. Swelling
  4. Dysfunction of affected area

People in the midole age group are particularly affected by this ailment. Probability
is found to higher for women.

This medical condition if diagnosed early enough is completely curable.
